About this design

The Blyss team designed and built this garden office with decking in Ruislip to create a peaceful and relaxed working environment for the owner. Working in the legal profession, he needed security and privacy for dealing with clients but also wanted the space to feel bright and comfortable.

Given the limited space, we agreed on a 3.5x3m room but added design features including a charcoal decking area, corner pillars, and a small hood with downlights. A sliding door and a full-height fixed panel window allow plenty of light into the room. The customer chose vertical larch cladding for the exterior and a fully plastered and painted interior with a fast Ethernet connection to the house.
